Rivers Edge Elementary School PTA Scholarship 

The Rivers Edge Elementary School PTA is pleased to present the Rivers Edge Scholarship Fund. Each year, the PTA awards a scholarship to two former Rivers Edge students for $500 each. The scholarship was created in 2009 in recognition of the first class to complete their elementary school career at Rivers Edge. The 2008-2009 5th grade class entered Kindergarten the first year that Rivers Edge opened. 

Requirements: 

• Former Rivers Edge Elementary School student 
• Must have attended Rivers Edge for at least two years 
• Graduating senior 

Scholarship Criteria: 

• Community service 
• Well-rounded student 
• Character 

Application Procedure: 

Please provide the following information no later than Friday, May 3, 2024. 

(Applications will not be considered if the following information is not provided.) 

1. An essay, no more than one page double spaced, on an important event that has influenced your life. 
2. A letter of recommendation from someone who is familiar with your community service and character. 
3. A resume to include the following:

5. Address 
6. Phone number 
7. College, university or trade school attending 
8. Years attended Rivers Edge Elementary School 
9. High school GPA (Grade Point Average) and class rank (copy of official or unofficial transcript) g. Summary of community service experience and hours 
10. Summary of extra-curricular activities (include sports, clubs, work experience and/or after school activities.)
